All of the shrimp we sell is caught in the Gulf of Mexico on one of our shrimp trawlers. The shrimp is headed on deck and then frozen below deck in the boat’s on-board freezer that night. Once the boat returns from a fishing trip to the Brownsville Shrimp Basin, the shrimp is unloaded and taken to Texas Pack in Port Isabel to be graded into sizes and packaged.
